SOUTHWEST FLORIDA (WINK) — WINK News Weather Authority meteorologists are tracking the continuation of our hot weather as humidity increases into the weekend.
Friday is starting even milder with lows in the lower to mid 70s. An increase in humidity is leading to patchy fog through the morning hours. Temperatures continue to heat up with highs climbing into the lower to mid 90s. On top of that, our increasing humidity leads to "feels like" temperatures in the mid to upper 90s. Plan on a partly cloudy and dry Friday.
Saturday will start quite mild and humid with temperatures in the lower to mid 70s. Temperatures will climb fast throughout the day with highs topping out in the lower to mid 90s. We'll see a partly cloudy and dry Saturday as the breeze picks up from the southwest in the afternoon.
Sunday will start even milder with temperatures in the mid 70s. Our hot pattern continues with highs climbing into the mid 90s. "Feels like" temperatures will climb to around 100° in the afternoon so use caution if you have plans with mom and grandma outdoors. While a few storms are possible, don't plan on much rain Sunday.
