Man who stole more than $400 cash from Lehigh Acres home accused of violating probation

LEHIGH ACRES, Fla. —

A man is accused of violating his probation after an arrest on burglary charges in Lehigh Acres.

According to Southwest Florida Crime Stoppers, Jeramiah Dudley, 20, broke into a Lehigh Acres home through an unlocked sliding glass door while the victim was sitting on her front porch.

Three children were inside the house at the time of the burglary, Crime Stoppers said. Dudley stole more than $400 in cash from the victim's bedroom.

Deputies located Dudley at a nearby park and arrested him. He spent eight months in the Lee County Jail and seven months in prison.

Dudley has been arrested 10 times on charges of burglary, aggravated battery, hit and run, resisting and grand theft auto. He is 6'0" and weighs 160 pounds.
