Sarasota County middle school teacher arrested over allegations of inappropriately touching students

SARASOTA COUNTY, Fla. —

A Sarasota County teacher was arrested by the North Port Police Department on Friday following allegations of inappropriately touching students.

Bryan Clum, a 37-year-old teacher at Woodland Middle School, was arrested on three felony charges.

NPD's police chief Todd Garrison commented on the arrest.

“Our hearts are with the students impacted by this case and their families,” Garrison said. “These situations are incredibly difficult, and we want victims to know they will be heard, supported, and taken seriously. We also encourage anyone who may have experienced inappropriate behavior involving this individual to come forward and speak with investigators.”
