7 Circle K gas stations across the Gulf Coast were impacted by tainted fuel, according to a spokesperson.

In a statement, Circle K said a fuel-quality issue from a third-party supplier impacted the sites.
"As soon as we became aware of the situation, we suspended fuel sales at these sites while the affected storage tanks were emptied, cleaned and replenished with fresh fuel," a Circle K spokesperson said. "We have resumed normal operations following the necessary testing that confirmed full remediation."
Circle K said it is gathering information and evaluating claims from drivers who have contacted them about car troubles due to the affected fuel. Anyone affected can call their claims department at 1-855-276-1947.
