No injuries after plane makes belly landing at Page Field

FORT MYERS, Fla. —

A private aircraft landed on its belly at Page Field in South Fort Myers.

According to the Lee County Port Authority, the plane had a landing gear issue. No injuries were reported, and the airport is open.

A reporter on the scene could see firetrucks and the plane being taken apart.
