SOUTHWEST FLORIDA (WINK) — WINK News Weather Authority meteorologists are tracking a weak cold front that will bring more clouds, higher rain chances and slightly cooler temperatures over the next few days.
Monday is starting very mild and humid with lows in the mid to upper 70s. Temperatures continue to heat up with highs climbing into the lower to mid 90s. Our higher humidity will make it feel hotter with "feels like" temperatures ranging from 98 to 103°. Plan on a few storms to pop up along I-75 in the early afternoon before moving inland and becoming isolated (30% coverage) throughout the evening.
Tuesday will continue our stretch of mild and humid mornings with temperatures in the 70s. Temperatures will climb quickly throughout the day, with highs topping out in the lower to mid-90s. Plan for a bit more rain on Tuesday with scattered storms (40% coverage) developing throughout the afternoon and continuing into the evening. We'll see some of those along the coast, with the majority developing east of I-75.
Wednesday is forecast to start a little cooler as a weak cold front moves through the state. Afternoon highs will remain above normal, but will be cooler than the last few days. Temperatures top out in the upper 80s to lower 90s. While the morning can feature a few showers, scattered rain and storms (40% coverage) develop for your afternoon and evening plans.
