Energetic, 2-year-old dog is looking for a forever home

FORT MYERS, Fla. —

The Gulf Coast Humane Society brought Krampus into the studio on Tuesday. The 2-year-old, energetic, mixed-breed dog is looking for a family to call his own.

He is approximately 42 pounds. The Humane Society says he is always on the go and is in need of an experienced pet owner who can keep him busy. This is not the dog to leave cooped up at home.

Darcy Andrade with Gulf Coast Humane Society says he has "classic cattle-dog intelligence" and is eager to bond with a new owner.

Right now, Gulf Coast Humane Society has its "clear the shelter event," making it the perfect time to adopt while saving some money.

Anyone interested in adopting Krampus or any other animal can visit the Gulf Coast Humane Society at 2010 Arcadia St. in Fort Myers.
