Man flown to hospital after falling 30 feet while trimming trees in Bonita Bay

BONITA SPRINGS, Fla. —

A man was airlifted to an area hospital after falling approximately 30 feet while trimming trees along Royalfern Court in Bonita Bay.

The Bonita Springs Fire Control and Rescue District said crews were called to the area around 9 a.m. Tuesday, and the man was flown to Gulf Coast Medical Center.

According to officials, the man fell on cut logs and branches.

The Lee County Sheriff's Office also responded to the call as a medical assist.

Gulf Coast News has not confirmed the man's condition at this time.
