Today will actually be the "coolest" day in the 7-10 day forecast with a high of 89°, the average for this time of year. With slightly lower humidity expected, heat index values will feel more like the lower 90s. (For perspective, yesterday's "feels like" temperature hit 99°.
This evening, a weak front will pass through SWFL. This means slightly lower humidity tomorrow as those dew points drop into the 60s. Likewise, rain chances will fall to 10% Thursday and Friday.
This weekend, the heat returns with highs climbing into the mid-90s. A few storms are possible Saturday with isolated storms starting Sunday afternoon. This 30% rain chance will linger into next week, as our rainy season tries to get underway.
