Mark Sievers, man on death row for wife's murder, faces hearing on new motions

FORT MYERS, Fla. (WINK) — A man convicted of hiring two people to murder his wife is expected to have hearings based on motions filed in his case on Thursday.

Mark Sievers is currently on death row for the murder of his wife, Teresa Sievers. He has been trying to appeal that death sentence.

Sievers will not be in court himself. 

The hearing is expected to start at 8:30 a.m. WINK News will bring any updates from this hearing.
