Crews battle brush fire near Kevitt Boulevard in Charlotte County

CHARLOTTE COUNTY, Fla. —

Crews are battling a brush fire near Kevitt Boulevard in Charlotte County Friday.

According to the Englewood Fire Department, they are assisting Charlotte County Fire & EMS and the Florida Forest Service with the fire.

According to FFS, the fire is two acres and 42% contained as of 5:03 p.m.
