A Babcock Neighborhood School student was flown to a hospital by helicopter after suffering an injury on Friday.
According to Charlotte County Fire & EMS, crews were called to the school at approximately 11:45 a.m. Officials said the student was transported by Aeromed after being determined to be a "trauma alert."
It is unknown what kind of injury the student sustained.
