NORTH FORT MYERS, Fla. (WINK)—A deadly crash has shut down a major roadway near the Lee and Charlotte County line.
The crash happened around mile marker 150 near Herons Glen Golf and Country Club.
Emergency vehicles have blocked off the northbound lanes at mile marker 143, and the sheriff's office is diverting traffic through the area.
According to Florida Highway Patrol, the crash is deadly. Drivers planning to head that way should find another route.
