A Cape Coral man is accused of attacking someone with a knife, according to officers with the Cape Coral Police Department.
According to an arrest report, officers responded to a sober living facility. The report says that Brian Baker, 39, had been having issues with another resident of the home. A witness told officers that things had become physical, and that Baker took a lamp, broke it, and ran at the other resident with a broken shard.
After this, witnesses told officers Baker had armed himself with a knife and charged at the other resident who picked up a brick in order to defend himself, the report says.
CCPD says Baker tried to hide the knife after the altercation, and officers later found it behind some boxes by the front doorway.
Baker was arrested and charged with aggravated assault with a deadly weapon.
