New brush fire sparks Monday in Picayune Strand State Forest in Collier County, grows to 80 acres

COLLIER COUNTY, Fla. —

A brush fire broke out in the Picayune Strand State Forest on Monday.

According to the Florida Forest Service website, the fire is near Rifle Range Road and has grown to 80 acres and is 5% contained as of 2:16 p.m. Monday.
