Deputies search for suspect accused of trying to break into homes, cars in Lehigh Acres

LEHIGH ACRES, Fla. —

Southwest Florida Crime Stoppers is seeking assitance in identifying an unknown suspect accused of burglary in Lehigh Acres.

According to Crime Stoppers, the suspect was caught on surveillance video during a burglary of an unoccupied conveyance in the 1000 block of Hansen Street East in Lehigh Acres at around 5 a.m. on Sunday.

The suspect was seen walking through the neighborhood with three other people, checking vehicle and residence door handles, Crime Stoppers said.
