Here is where WINK Doppler 3X will see storms Tuesday afternoon

SOUTHWEST FLORIDA (WINK) — WINK News Weather Authority meteorologists are tracking another round of scattered storms on Tuesday afternoon. Similar to Monday, storms will favor communities closer to the coast thanks to a stronger East breeze.

Tuesday

Tuesday is off to a more humid and mild morning with temperatures in the lower to mid 70s. While much of the morning stays dry, another round of scattered afternoon storms is expected to develop in the early afternoon. Some storms could produce heavy downpours, frequent lightning, and gusty winds throughout the afternoon and early evening. High temperatures will once again reach the lower to mid 90s before storms develop.

Wednesday

Wednesday looks slightly drier overall, with morning temperatures remaining in the 70s. A few afternoon storms will still be possible, but rain coverage should be more limited compared to earlier in the week. With more sunshine expected, temperatures will feel hotter as highs climb into the lower to mid 90s.

Thursday

Thursday looks to begin quite mild and humid with temperatures in the 70s. Expect highs to climb quickly into the lower to mid 90s, with “feels like” temperatures between 98° and 102°. Storms will be more limited Thursday with most communities forecast to stay dry. Nonetheless, a few storms will pop up across parts of Southwest Florida in the afternoon and early evening.
