Deadly crash blocks Jetport Loop, Treeline Ave S intersection in Lee County

LEE COUNTY, Fla. —

A fatal crash at Jetport Loop and Treeline Avenue S in Lee County has blocked traffic at the intersection on Wednesday afternoon.

The Florida Highway Patrol received a call about the crash at approximately 2:03 p.m. The Lee County Sheriff's Office advised drivers to avoid the area and seek an alternate route.

According to FHP, all southbound lanes on Treeline Ave. S are closed.

Gulf Coast News is working to confirm who died in the crash and if anyone else was injured.
