Boil water notice issued for parts of Rotonda and west Charlotte County due to water line repairs

CHARLOTTE COUNTY, Fla. —

Some Charlotte County Utilities Department customers were placed under a boil water notice due to repairs made to the water supply system.

According to the Charlotte County Government, a boil water notice was issued for parts of Rotonda and some nearby areas in the western part of the county, including Cape Haze and Placida. Residents in the affected areas are advised to boil water for drinking or cooking until further notice.

Officials said the Utilities Department will notify the impacted customers when the boil water notice is rescinded.
