FORT MYERS, Fla. (WINK) — WINK Stop reporter Bianca Smith visited Pure Barre to explore what the workout is all about during National Women's Health Month.
Pure Barre offers a unique exercise experience that combines strength training and flexibility. The workout focuses on small, controlled movements designed to tone muscles and improve posture.
"It's a full-body workout that really targets those hard-to-reach muscles," said Kristy Eichhorn, general manager of Pure Barre.
The class uses a ballet barre along with resistance bands and small weights. Participants perform isometric movements that create long, lean muscles without adding bulk.
Eichhorn said the workout is suitable for all fitness levels. Instructors offer modifications to make exercises easier or more challenging, depending on individual needs.
The studio emphasizes the importance of women prioritizing their health, especially during National Women's Health Month. Regular exercise combined with routine medical screenings helps maintain overall wellness.
Pure Barre classes run throughout the week at various times to accommodate different schedules.
