Cape Coral Mayor John Gunter is holding a news conference on Thursday to discuss the next steps for the Cape Coral Yacht Club.
Gunter will discuss the City Council's phased direction for the future of the yacht club and the next steps for staff.
The news conference comes as Cape Coral residents have raised concerns over the cost of the project and calls for faster progress.
The news conference is scheduled to start at 10 a.m.
