Collier County Domestic Animal Services announced it is expanding access to its affordable pet care programs with the launch of three new community veterinary service programs.
The new programs include low-cost spay and neuter services, public vaccine clinics and a Return-to-Home cat spay and neuter program.
The low-cost public spay and neuter programs will take place on Wednesdays by appointment only, and pet drop-off begins at 9:30 a.m. The public vaccine clinics will be available on Tuesdays and Thursdays by appointment only.
The Return-to-Home cat spay and neuter program does not require an appointment. Drop-offs are available on Mondays, Tuesdays and Thursdays. Cats must be picked up within 24 hours of drop-off.
“These programs are designed to help keep pets healthy, reduce overpopulation, and provide residents with accessible veterinary care options,” said Dr. Erica Unz, Veterinarian Medical Director for Collier County Domestic Animal Services. “By offering affordable preventative services, we’re helping pets stay in loving homes while also supporting the overall health and safety of our community.”
