Glades County burn ban in effect amid rising wildfire danger

GLADES COUNTY, Fla. (WINK) — Glades County officials have implemented a countywide burn ban effective Wednesday, due to dry conditions and increased wildfire risk.

The Glades County Board of County Commissioners has prohibited all outdoor burning until further notice. This includes yard debris burning, campfires, bonfires and any unauthorized outdoor open burning.

Officials are asking all residents and visitors to remain vigilant and avoid activities that could spark a fire.
