Multiple Collier County deputies and Florida Highway Patrol troopers responded Wednesday afternoon to a scene along I-75 near the Pine Ridge Road exit.

According to the Collier County Sheriff's Office, deputies were serving a search warrant in the area when the suspect, Onel Vicente Martinez, is accused of running. He has a warrant out of Colorado, where he is accused of felony violation of probation.

Dozens of deputies, K-9 units, state troopers, and helicopters were seen searching the woods near Old Livingston Road, close to residential areas.

"I was a little bit worried, you know, that my daughter was by herself," said Dumitru Sabau, a Collier County resident.

Sabau also said, "She said, K-9 unit came in, and they were looking around the property."

CCSO said deputies were unable to find Martinez, and the scene has been cleared.

The search will continue, and the sheriff's office said it is following up on other leads to try to find him.

"I think he's gone, you know, there's no danger," Sabau said.

A Gulf Coast News crew at the scene spotted a helicopter circling the area.

Southbound traffic along I-75 experienced some delays.
