Water main break on Three Oaks Parkway causes disruptions for multiple homes

LEE COUNTY, Fla. (WINK) — Crews are on scene attending to a water main break affecting 30 homes along Three Oaks Parkway.

The water main break was reported to Lee County Utilities at around 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday.

According to the county, a non-county contractor was installing fiber wiring before the water main was struck.

Lee County Utilities is performing on-site repairs, and the issue should be resolved between 8:30 and 10:30 p.m. on Wednesday. 

A boil water notice is in effect until the repairs are completed. 

On-site crews are placing door-hanging notifications for those affected by the main break.
