SOUTHWEST FLORIDA (WINK) — WINK News Weather Authority meteorologists are tracking a bit more rain for your Tuesday afternoon and evening plans.
Tuesday
As isolated storms fizzle out tonight, the Weather Authority is monitoring another hot and humid day Wednesday, along with scattered afternoon and evening storms.
Wednesday
Afternoon temperatures on Wednesday will reach the lower to mid-90s, with heat index values between 100 and 105 degrees due to the high humidity.
Scattered storms are expected to develop during the afternoon and evening, with 40% rain coverage.
Thursday
Thursday will start with morning lows in the mid-70s and afternoon highs near 90 degrees. Rain coverage increases to 60% during the afternoon and evening as atmospheric moisture rises, strengthening our rainy-season pattern.
