A duo who was found guilty of stealing over $1,000 worth of fuel in Collier County has new warrants out for their arrest for probation violations, according to Southwest Florida Crime Stoppers.

Crime Stoppers says Jeriel Alvarez Lazo, 33, and Aznarepsis Valdes Rodriguez, 32, were initially arrested after detectives say they used an electronic device on a fuel pump that allowed them to operate it remotely and without payment.

The duo stole 175 gallons on the first pass, detectives said. The second trip was when store security grew suspicious, as they were sitting at the pump for more than 15 minutes. Collier County deputies were called and the two were arrested.

The duo was found guilty of organized fraud and other charges, and have both recently gotten new warrants for their arrest on probation violation charges.

Alvarez Lazo and Valdes Rodriguez have ties to Miami and Cape Coral.

If you have information in this case, you are asked to contact Southwest Florida Crime Stoppers at 1-800-780-TIPS (8477), on the P3 app, or on its website. You can remain anonymous, and if your tip leads to an arrest, you may be eligible for a cash reward of up to $3,000.
