A Lehigh Acres felon has a warrant out for his arrest after violating his probation on charges of burglary and petit theft, according to Southwest Florida Crime Stoppers.
Crime Stoppers says Cristian Rodriguez, 31, was first accused of these charges after victims said they were awakened by their dog barking early in the morning. When they left for work later in the morning, multiple cars had been broken into.
Fingerprints found at the scene connected Rodriguez to the theft, Crime Stoppers says. When detectives went to look for him, he was already in custody on unrelated but similar charges.
Rodriguez was released in April and was accused of violating the terms of his probation one month later.
Rodriguez was last known to be living in Lehigh Acres and could be using the aliases "Rodriguez Ortega", "Creepo Rodriguez", or "Flako".
If you have information in this case, you are asked to contact Southwest Florida Crime Stoppers at 1-800-780-TIPS (8477), on the P3 app, or on its website. You can remain anonymous, and if your tip leads to an arrest, you may be eligible for a cash reward of up to $3,000.
