86-year-old Cape Coral man accused of DUI after car crashes into neighbor's home

A Cape Coral man was arrested late Saturday night after being accused of DUI and driving his car into his neighbor's house.
According to the Cape Coral Police Department, Francis Broderick, 86, was trying to park in his neighbor's driveway and instead drove his car into the home. He was transported to the hospital for evaluation.
DUI officers responded to the scene and conducted a DUI investigation. CCPD said that Broderick performed poorly during field sobriety exercises and refused a breathalyzer test.
Broderick was arrested and faces charges of DUI, DUI refusal, and DUI property damage.
