Commissioners approve $1.5 million contract for improvements to Richmond Ave in Lehigh Acres

On Tuesday, the Lee County Board of Commissioners approved a contract to resurface and make other improvements to sections of Richmond Avenue North in Lehigh Acres.

The work will include milling, resurfacing, restriping, shoulder work and ADA improvements from Bear Street to Leeland Heights Boulevard and from the Able Canal to Greenbriar Boulevard.

The county said the work will bring improvements to a total of 10.4 miles.

The $1.5 million contract was awarded to OHLA USA Inc.
