Punta Gorda announces temporary sidewalk closures near Fishermen's Village for repair project

The City of Punta Gorda Public Works Department announced that it has begun a sidewalk replacement project that will result in temporary sidewalk closures.
According to the department's Right-of-Way Division, the sidewalk replacement project is taking place along the pedestrian corridor from Shreve Street to Fishermen's Village.

Pedestrians are encouraged to use alternate sidewalk routes through Alice Park and Pittman Park. Public Works reminds pedestrians to use caution when traveling through the area and to follow all posted signs and detours.
The project will continue until all repairs have been completed.
