Worker electrocuted by power pole in Cape Coral; section of Burnt Store Rd shut down

A worker was electrocuted while working on a power pole along Burnt Store Road and Janis Road in Cape Coral Friday morning.

According to the Cape Coral Police Department, Burnt Store Road is shut down at Janis Road to allow a medical flight helicopter to land to transport the worker to the hospital.

At this time, the worker's condition is unknown.
