Worker hospitalized after electrical accident on Burnt Store Road in Cape Coral

CAPE CORAL, Fla. (WINK) — The Cape Coral Police Department said a worker suffered an electrical shock while working on a power pole at Janis Road and Burnt Store Road North on Friday.

CCPD closed down the roads to allow a helicopter to land.

The worker was airlifted from the scene.
