This weekend weather won't stick around for long

Saturday Outlook

The beautiful weekend weather continues across Southwest Florida this afternoon, with plenty of sunshine, lower humidity, and very limited rain chances.

Today's Forecast

High temperatures are climbing into the lower 90s, but the drier air is making conditions feel more slightly more comfortable than recent days. A few high clouds may drift overhead later today, but sunshine will remain the dominant feature.

Rain chances stay low at just 10%, with only an isolated shower possible.

Sunday Forecast

Sunday is shaping up to be another pleasant day, although humidity will begin to increase. Expect a mix of sun and clouds with highs reaching the mid-90s in some locations. Most areas will stay dry, but a few showers and thunderstorms could develop Sunday evening and overnight.

Looking Ahead

Looking ahead, deeper moisture returns by the middle of next week, bringing increasing rain chances. The highest coverage of showers and thunderstorms is expected Thursday into Friday, with temperatures remaining in the 90s throughout the week.

Right now, tropical development is not expected over the next 7 days per the National Hurricane Center. Stay tuned to the WINK Weather Authority for the latest.
