LEE COUNTY, Fla. (WINK)— Overnight closures begin at the I-75 and Daniels Parkway interchange, shutting down the busy intersection and ramps.
The closures start at 8 p.m. Crews will be working on overhead signals near Daniels Parkway and I-75. Drivers should expect brief full closures of both eastbound and westbound Daniels Parkway.
The I-75 ramps in the area are also expected to close briefly while crews are working. Drivers can use Treeline Avenue or Six Mile Cypress Parkway as detours.
Law enforcement will be on scene to help direct traffic through the closures. Construction at the interchange has already been a frustration for drivers who use the area every day.
The Florida Department of Transportation says the work is weather dependent, so the timing could change.
