Sunday
It was a beautiful weekend. Hopefully, you got outside and enjoyed it.
Outside of a few showers and thunderstorms this evening, things will be relatively quiet tonight.
It will be a bit more humid than Saturday night, which only allows temperatures to drop into the mid 70s under partly cloudy skies.
Monday
Afternoon highs will once again reach the mid-90s across much of Southwest Florida, so be sure to stay hydrated if you'll be spending time outdoors.
Rain chances remain low, but a few isolated afternoon thunderstorms cannot be ruled out.
A more noticeable increase in moisture is not expected until Wednesday.
Looking Ahead
Rain chances will begin to increase by the middle to late part of the week as deeper tropical moisture returns to the region.
The highest coverage of showers and thunderstorms is expected from Thursday into the weekend, when rain chances climb to around 60-70%.
Temperatures will remain consistently warm, with afternoon highs staying in the 90s throughout the week.
Tropics
The National Hurricane Center is not expecting any tropical development across the Atlantic Basin during the next seven days.
