BONITA SPRINGS, Fla. (WINK) — A 67-year-old Naples woman died after a crash on US 41 at Palma De Coco Drive on Monday.

The Naples woman was driving a 2024 Ford Transit van and was turning right from the stop sign at Palma De Coco Drive onto northbound US 41. The front of the truck collided with the left side of the van.

The woman was ejected from her vehicle and pronounced dead at the scene. After the initial collision, the truck allegedly struck a 2018 Jeep traveling north on US 41 in the left lane.

The Jeep's driver, a 38-year-old Estero man, sustained minor injuries. The truck driver sustained non-incapacitating injuries and was transported to an area hospital, where he was medically cleared.
