Fawn rescued from fencing after being chased by people on ATVs in North Port

A fawn was rescued from a fence by a North Port police officer after it was chased by people on ATVs.
According to the North Port Police Department, Environmental Conservation Officer Dominick Caravella responded to the scene to help a fawn that had become trapped in a fence. Reportedly, it had become trapped after being chased by people on ATVs, NPPD said.
With assistance from Sarasota County Animal Services, Caravella safely freed the fawn and ensured it received medical attention.
