SOUTHWEST FLORIDA (WINK) — WINK News Weather Authority meteorologists are tracking a wetter stretch as more moisture moves into Southwest Florida.
Off to another humid start this Wednesday as more moisture begins to work into Southwest Florida. Temperatures are starting in the 70s with highs soaring into the lower to mid 90s. More rain is likely this Wednesday with scattered storms (60% coverage) developing in the afternoon and continuing into the evening. Most of Southwest Florida will see those storms throughout the day.
Thursday morning will start warm and dry with temperatures in the 70s. Temperatures climb quickly with highs returning to the lower 90s. We'll see a little less rain Thursday with scattered storms (40% coverage) expected to be around Southwest Florida throughout the afternoon and evening.
Plan for a humid and dry morning for your Friday plans as temperatures start off in the 70s. While the morning will start dry, more storms are expected with scattered storms (60% coverage) developing in the afternoon and continuing into the evening. Highs top out in the lower 90s before those storms develop.
