Southwest Florida Crime Stoppers is looking for witnesses, a suspect identification and vehicle information in a physical assault that occurred at the Bokeelia Fishing Pier in May.In a post on their Facebook page, Crime Stoppers says that on Memorial Day weekend a violent physical altercation occurred at the Bokeelia Fishing Pier. During the incident, Crime Stoppers says two suspects repeatedly hit a victim, causing extensive injuries.Afterward, Crime Stoppers says the two suspects drove away in a black pickup truck with large rims, towing a trailer carrying a blue boat approximately 20-25 feet in length.The first suspect is a slim white man, approximately 20-30 years old, of possible Cuban descent, with blond-to-brunette hair, a long white beard and wearing a hat and dark shorts, according to Crime Stoppers.Crime Stoppers says the second suspect is a heavy-set white man, approximately 20-30 years old and wearing black shorts.If you have information in this case, you are asked to contact Southwest Florida Crime Stoppers at 1-800-780-TIPS (8477), on the P3 app, or on its website.
