Florida Highway Patrol arrested a man they say was the driver who fled the scene in a Collier County hit-and-run crash that injured a pedestrian on Wednesday.According to FHP, Magnel Marc, 51, was driving an SUV when he hit a pedestrian on westbound 16th Avenue Southwest. The pedestrian, a 65-year-old man, sustained critical injuries in the crash and was transported to the hospital.Marc then left the scene, FHP said. Troopers located the SUV at an apartment complex on Ibis Club Lane. The SUV had a shattered windshield and large dents on the hood.Troopers then arrested Marc. He faces charges of leaving a crash scene involving serious bodily injury, reckless driving, and an out-of-county warrant.Marc was booked into the Collier County Jail.
