Scattered storms on Saturday brought areas of heavy rain for some, including street flooding in Southeastern Cape Coral.
Those storms will come to an end by 10 p.m. tonight, followed by partly cloudy skies.
Lows overnight will drop into the mid 70s.
Sunday will once again bring a chance for scattered storms due to steady moisture and hot daytime highs in the low 90s.
Coverage won't be as elevated, but rain could still impact your afternoon and evening plans.
The highest rain coverage will be east of I-75.
For the boaters out there, winds are light out of the northwest from 5 to 10 knots, with the Gulf wave heights reaching 1 to 2 feet. There is only a light chop in our bays and inland waters. Water temperatures are warm, around 87 degrees.
In the tropics, the Weather Authority is continuing to monitor a disturbance in the western Gulf that has a low 20% chance of developing over the upcoming week. This will be moving over the Bay of Campeche towards eastern Mexico, staying away from Southwest Florida. It will likely get caught up in a front and bring heavy rainfall to parts of Texas, Louisiana, and Mississippi.
