Swatting call prompts large police response at Cape Coral home

The Cape Coral Police Department has confirmed that a swatting call is what caused officers to swarm a house on Sunday night.>>Video above: Previous coverage from June 13, 2026According to CCPD, officers responded to a home in the 1600 block of Southwest 22nd Court near Trafalgar Parkway shortly before 8 p.m.CCPD confirmed that the response was due to what was later discovered to be a swatting call.
