A Cape Coral man was sentenced to life in prison on Monday after he molested a child and showed the victim pornography.According to the State Attorney's Office's news release, Jonas Lied Aracena was convicted of familial or custodial sexual battery, providing obscene material to minors, lewd or lascivious molestation and 10 counts of child pornography, plus all special findings. He was also designated as a sexual predator. This came after he was found guilty in May after a jury trial in Lee County.The release states that between July 2020 and December 2023, Aracena molested the victim multiple times at a home in Cape Coral. He also showed the victim child pornography and videos of adults engaging in sex with animals. The victim told an adult who contacted law enforcement. The Cape Coral Police Department investigated the case.A computer and phone were seized, and a digital forensic examination was done on the devices.
