The State Attorney's Office chose not to file charges against a Lehigh Acres teacher accused of hitting a 4-year-old child.According to the Lee County Clerk of Court's website, the document was filed on June 12 and the State Attorney's Office cited "insufficient evidence to prove beyond a reasonable doubt."Melanie Garcia, an assistant teacher at Grace Community School, was arrested in May by the Lee County Sheriff's Office.
