Multiple agencies are searching the waters in the area of 7360 Estero Boulevard on Fort Myers Beach on Wednesday after receiving reports of an individual in need of rescue.According to the Lee County Sheriff's Office, deputies received a call from a person on the beach who thought they heard someone yelling for help. The Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission said a person on the beach reported that someone in the water went underwater and did not resurface.LCSO said its marine, aviation, and ground deputies are conducting an intensive search alongside FWC and Fort Myers Beach Fire crews in the area just north of Lover's Key State Park.
