An 18-year-old driver was arrested after Fort Myers police said he went over 100 mph along Colonial Boulevard near Challenger Boulevard.At approximately 2:30 p.m. on Tuesday, a Fort Myers police officer was conducting traffic enforcement on Colonial Blvd when he reported seeing a red SUV traveling at a very high rate of speed.According to the Fort Myers Police Department, the officer's radar showed that the SUV was going 110 mph in a 55 mph zone.The officer stopped the driver, later identified as Brady Shultz, 18, and arrested him for violating Florida's Super Speeder law, driving 50+ mph over a posted speed limit.DOWNLOAD the free Gulf Coast News app for your latest news and alerts on breaking news, weather, sports, entertainment, and more on your phone or tablet.
