SOUTHWEST FLORIDA (WINK) — A well-known Hollywood actor is behind bars in Hillsborough County with no bond after being taken into custody on contempt of court charges.
Faizon Love, 58, best known for playing Gimbels store manager Wanda in "Elf," resort employee Shane in "Couples Retreat" and Big Worm in "Friday," was arrested late Tuesday night, June 16, arrest records show.
He was booked into the Falkenburg Road Jail in Tampa just before midnight and remained in custody on Thursday.
Love faces two counts of contempt of court tied to a warrant connected to a case with an offense date of May 15.
No bond has been set and no release date has been provided.
The case remains ongoing and additional details have not yet been made public.
