SOUTHWEST FLORIDA (WINK)— Heat and humidity remain dialed up for Friday. Afternoon temperatures will reach the mid-90s, while dew points climb into the mid to upper 70s, making it feel very humid across Southwest Florida.
As a result, heat index values could reach 105 to 110 degrees in some communities.
Isolated storms are in the forecast Friday afternoon and evening, with 30% rain coverage. Most locations will see a mix of sun and clouds throughout the day. Friday morning will start warm and humid, with low temperatures near 80 degrees.
Rain coverage increases slightly Saturday to 40%, with scattered storms possible during the afternoon and evening. It will be another hot day, with morning lows near 80 degrees and afternoon highs in the lower to mid-90s. High humidity will once again push feels-like temperatures above 100 degrees.
