EAST NAPLES, Fla. (WINK) — Four people were arrested in Broward County after fleeing from Collier County Sheriff's Office deputies in a black Tesla following reports of stolen baby formula from retail locations.
CCSO deputies responded to a report of stolen baby formula from a retail location in East Naples shortly before 8 a.m., according to a press release from the Collier County Sheriff's Office. Deputies, with assistance from the Real-Time Operations Center, located the suspect vehicle at another retail location in Collier County, where the suspects had just committed a similar theft.
The Tesla fled from deputies. A pursuit ensued that went onto Alligator Alley and ended in Broward County.
The four vehicle occupants were taken into custody on multiple felony charges. The investigation remains active, and no additional information is available at this time.
